Our grandsons enjoy shooting hoops and really enjoy playing basketball with this

These lights are fun- they do not always work when you score but when they do there are several mini light “shows” and it makes it easier to see the hoop at night. However- despite installing them per directions, they started slipping off after just a few days of play.

Last a few days and everyone loved it! But dunking and holding the rim broke the wires inside connecting the light to each other. If the back board lit up for each shot it would be fantastic and last much longer. Other do offer light for the back board but not motion activated (per made shot) seem like I can make my own.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my 10 yr old grandson. Parents decided nit to put the net up until weather is good (I’m thinking it won’t be until spring) so I cannot give a helpful review to know if it was a good buy. It’s very colorful! Keeping my fingers crossed!

Easy to install. Nice, flexible, quality led wrapped in a rubber material to make it weather proof. It has a sensor underneath the hoop that makes the lights go off when a basket is made. Otherwise the lights are just white. The lights change when a basket is made….it flashes rainbow colors, blinks different colors, etc. see videos of a couple different sequences of lights. It only lets me upload one video per review. I’ll do another review for the other video(s).

About a month after installation only a quarter of the lights lit up. It’s a cool idea, if it would’ve worked longer.

Bought this for my 13 y/o son for Christmas and he loves it! He installed it himself, and it didn't take long at all. It came with several zip ties to secure it to the hoop and to secure the wire that goes to the power source. And the wire that goes to the power source is long enough where he was able to mount it at the bottom of the goal pole, so it can be turned on/off easily and to change batteries. Batteries not included. It lights up and does as promised. He has a glow ball purchased from Amazon as well, that he loves playing with too. Its in the video, but not turned on. He said it feels and shoots like a real basketball. Great combo for any basketball lover!

We put these up and the zipties only lasted about a week. I'm sure teh colder weather took it's toll on them. Ended up using electricle tape to secure the lights in place. Nothing wrong with the lights in general. They are perfect!

Bought for my son’s 13 birthday. My older son who is 16 set it up for him. It was easy and they love playing outside at night with it!

We purchased this hoop for our 12 year old grandson and it is great! Those winter nights when it gets dark so early, he enjoys shooting a few "hoops"

Bought this for my 14 y.o son as a Christmas present. He loved it! It was easy to install, the directions were clear, and it took me (Mom) about 20 minutes altogether to put it on the hoop.The light strip is very easy to attach around the rim with the included zip ties. At first, I thought they would get in the way of shooting the ball but when put on correctly and the excess zip tie cut off, they do not get in the way at all. The sensor fits securely on the back board under the rim. It is highly accurate and knows when the ball goes in or when it misses. The rim lights up accordingly. The wire that connects the lights to the battery pack is long enough to accommodate raising and lowering the goal even after we attached it to the pole with the included zip ties.Overall, we are very happy with this light up goal. It definitely makes playing ball at night pretty cool. I think kids, teens, or anyone who loves shooting basketball would really like this product!

Purchased this for my nephew’s (9th grade boy) Christmas gift. He loved it. Perfect for a boy who has everything and loves sports. My sister confirmed it was easy to install and lit the hoop perfectly.

Had for 3 years and still enjoying

I installed this for my grandchild last weekend and it's really cool, especially when paired with a glow-in-the-dark basketball. The two biggest problems I noticed when reading the reviews for these hoop lights is that the zip ties break too easily and that the lights don't seem to last very long before they quit working. I used stronger zip ties to help with the first problem. As for the second issue, we'll just have to give it time and see. I'll try to remember to update this in 6 months or so.
