This set of 6 ping pong balls is exactly as advertised as you just give these a decent charge under direct light (not just sitting in a lit room) and you get super bright glow in the dark balls to enjoy! As multiple other reviews have stated the glow only lasts a few minutes so fairly limited play time under actually dark circumstances and for regular play these are better than your generic balls that can crumple if you pick them up the wrong way but certainly not at the standard of a 3 star ball (probably somewhere between a 1 and 2 star based on my best guess).
TLDR: Cool ping pong balls but not sure about glowing so far! I have tried a small flashlight on them and the glow just wasn’t impressive, nor did it last long at all. I do think that using a black light may change that, at least I hope so! I do have one but it’s hard to get to at the moment, I’ll pull it out next time we play and try to update my review then. The balls themselves seem sturdy, and do seem to be the correct size! They have a nice light bounce and I like them in general. I just really wanted the glow in the dark aspect to really pop! So I hope that happens with the black light, if not I’m not sure that these are great for the price but we will see!
Ordered the "Brightz Glow in The Dark Ping Pong Balls, 6-Pack - Green Colored Neon Ping Pong Balls - Official Size & Weight 40mm Table Tennis Balls - Durable High Performance - Next Level Fun" just be aware that they are fairly dim to difficult to see and that the glow only lasts a minute. Other than that, a nice novelty ping pong item.
My kids are really enjoying these balls, but they do have to take many breaks to "recharge" the balls. They do glow quite well, which is great, but the glow will only last for a few points before getting too dim to keep playing. Having some glow in the dark tape on the table and even the net would make the whole thing even better, but it isn't the responsibility of the balls to make that happen!The balls themselves just as balls are satisfactory as well. They play well, so you could use them with the lights on and still have a good game. They aren't as good as top of the line 3 star balls, but are as good or better than your random 1 star ball.If these would stay bright for at least 5 minutes, I'd for sure give these 5 stars. That said, I would still recommend them to someone looking for glow in the dark balls, so long as the limitations are understood.

Our teenage cousins got a ping pong table late last year. We saw these and thought they’d really have some fun with these and we were right. We coupled this with the Brightz LED Net Lights.We kept the balls under a bright light for about 5 minutes before turning out the lights and playing. They stayed playably light for about 3-5 minutes, before we’d swap out for a “fresh” fully glowing ball we’d keep in the next room with the light. It works best if you have them under a more intense light like a direct lamp, etc. as opposed to simply having them sit in a lighted room. After 10-12 minutes, you could “find” them in total dark, but they wouldn’t be playable.Fun novelty item and play fairly well. They are a bit pricey given the fact that ping pong balls in general don’t last that long, at least with teenage boys, however, it is a fun item to use when changing it up a bit.

The glowing feature of these balls is very short lived. But, if you do have a black light and some psychedelics, we'll let's just say the trails go on fooooreevver. Just sayin'.

Not sure what people are complaining about, they do exactly as advertised, you hold them under bright light for at least 20 or 30 seconds and then turn the lights off. They glow. Not super bright but good enough to play ping-pong in the dark.
These were a huge hit at a party we had.
So much fun! We love playing pong pond, so this is a fun mix-up to our games.
