Bought for Halloween. Works great. Not sure on longevity though. Blue is the light in pic.

These lights are marketed to a younger audience with the prospects of adding that dope early 2000's custom import scene underglow lighting to their bicycle, increasing their visibility, safety, and aesthetic appeal. However, even if you're a jaded adult cyclist, there's more than meets the eye and there may be something in it for you.If you have a cargo rack on your bicycle, this is the perfect taillight. Mounts easily and securely to the rear with two zip ties, and lasts long enough for multiple night rides. Stuff two AAA's in a Ziploc bag, put it in your pannier bag, and enjoy the piece of mind that you can quickly swap them out without tools should the light start to die out on you.Lighting options include solid light and three flashing modes of increasing frequency. The LEDs shine bright, and in a horizontal position facing directly behind, is nearly impossible to miss in the dark.I've had a handful of these lights since middle school, and the first few did succumb to corrosion after lots of use and sitting exposed to the winter elements. However, the two I have now (the oldest being a few years old) still work fine despite exposure to the elements. I highly recommend installing with the battery cover facing down so as to drain any water that enters. This makes replacing batteries a little more cumbersome, but it's still very easy and quick to do on the side of the road, and the batteries last surprisingly long for only two AAAs so unless you do consistent riding in dark/inclement conditions, you shouldn't have to replace them too often. I've had the same batteries in mine for a few months, and they still shine bright after some hours of night riding.Even if I had to replace the whole unit every year, it would be well worth the ~$12 for the utility, ease of installation and use, cheap price, reliability, battery life, and visibility. Brightz is making a mistake by not marketing their red bar light to commuters and bikepackers considering how perfectly this fits on a rack.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love the color red and at night time it’s the easiest to see without affecting your night vision. also the strobe option or stationary is pretty unique as well.Value for money:Cost wise, it was less expensive to purchase on here than it was in store. Yeah there was shipping and taxes but at my local stores, it still cost about $5.00 more per one light.Ease of installation:So for my bike in particular, the rubber ties did not fit. However, I found all weather resistant zip-ties did just the trick, if not better because once installed and covered with high quality clear tape, these babies were 100% waterproof! Color:I picked red because it’s bright, easy to see, and doesn’t affect your night vision.Functionality:There’s slow flash, stationary, and strobe modes. The stationary is good for riding at night in dark areas whereby strobes are great for areas where there’s street lights. Once you figure out your riding route, you’ll know the setting that you need.

Works well for electric skateboard - I used Velcro tape to secure it instead of the pieces that come for the bike.2 AAA batteries needed (not included), not rechargeable unfortunately.Seems to be pretty bright, very easy to turn on and to turn off. It seems like great value for the price - I already have puck lights on the top part of the board, I had them on the bottom too but they didn’t make it. Hopefully the switch to Velcro tape on the top pucks helps, otherwise I may get another one of these to put on top part instead.I will update review if problems occur with stability, brightness, if they burn out, or any other issues.

Love these. I have 3 now. I bought them for my kids and then I wanted one for myself. One of them I've had over a year and have only switched out batteries 1 time. Highly recommend.

Lights are not even bright like the ones in the pictures and way over priced no wonder amazon is taking over everything.

This is my second unit. I bought my first probably five years ago in blue only. After that unit blinked its last blink I upgraded to the multicolor unit. I’ve had it for a couple of weeks now and it’s been great. It’s simple to install and throws good color. I would recommend to anyone who wants a little fun on their bike for very little work.

I put this frame light under my rear rack to effectively brighten up my bike a bit higher on the frame together with my wheel lights.You can cycle through different colors and then select a single color to hold on. I use the orange to go with my orange rear wheel light.Does the job.

They are convenient and easy to install. The brightness, or rather lack thereof, is something that I did not like. While they are visible in dark conditions, it would be better if they were brighter. The brightness is nothing like depicted in the sample photos. The do not light up the floor the way it is depicted.

Cool addition to my son's ebike so cars can see him better getting to school in the mornings. Safety first!

Yes, perfect I am at 293 miles from my 300 goal of American Cancer Society ride and the lights worked perfectly. I have not had to change the batteries once.

I use these on my son's power chair. A GREAT SAFETY feature

This is a nice glow light for a regular bike, but the flexible rubber straps are not long enough to go around the fat frame of an ebike. Will need long zip ties for an ebike application. Straps are about 5 inches long total.

I like the light that it works well but not as well as I thought it would've worked in every image except for one you showed two sets of lights and then I watched the video and I show the installation of a light, but everything else showed two lights and nowhere in the ad as I checked stated it was one light. It didn't distinctively say that it was warm light so basically it was misleading and I was going through it patiently because I was looking for good lights and I thought I was getting too incredible. Good price. I feel deceived and taken based on what I saw and what I read.. the only reason why we even make this at three because the light works really well. Two lights would've really lit up my bike driving through dark areas during the daytime.. how do you change something in that ad or at least state that is one light you don't have to point out there's not too but letting us the consumer know that it's one night makes it fair not like we were trapping to buying what we thought to be two lights. If I had known that before my purchase, I might've bought two of them because I looked how they looked with two., right now I'm not even considering that I'm just trying to get over this thing of feeling somewhat deceived as the consumer based on your ad! Please try to make these changes so it doesn't look like you're trying to trick the customer on this or any other ad that you have out there it's not a good practice because it does look almost deliberate and intentional and I don't want to start thinking that cause that'll keep me from buying anything that you put out there. I won't buy any of your products because I won't know if it's actually what I'm seeing and reading. And in all fairness, I like your product I dislike your ad of your product!

These lights are pretty cool. Only dissapointing thing is they are battery pwr'd. Would be much more functional if they were rechargeable via USB-C.

Great value for a great quality product! Arrived on time and as expected very happy with this led light for bike. It is easy to install. Durable material lightweight design that’s very functional. Light compartment and strap very stabile. easy to install.

OK, but not as bright as I had hoped it would be.

In my second riding season with this light set. I already have very bright front and rear LED's on my commuter E-bike. I mounted this light on the top tube because the down tube is where the battery sits (too fat around). The silicone mounting straps survived a full summer of riding. No stretching, fading or significant wear noticeable. The two AAA batteries lasted all summer and into the fall. I just replaced them but they were working fine. Still plenty bright. I just wanted a fresh set for 2025. The yellow LED's give a sharp contrast to my white front lights and red rear lights. VERY VISIBLE. No complaints here. Bring on the Spring!
