I was sceptical these lights would not be bright enough. I was wrong. Our campsite could be seen from everywhere. They easily went on with clips and continued to glow even in heavy rain. I so enjoyed not having cords to step on or trip over.
I bought the red lights because I wanted a more peaceful atmosphere while in my tent, instead of bright whites. But that is the affect I wanted. I found that subdued lighting very laxing. If I want to brighten things up, I also have a couple of solar lanterns. And I have a head lamp if I wish to read while laying in my cot. I just like having several different options.
We hung these in our tent when we went camping. They added a cozy element to our tent. The kids loved it. They ran all night long with no problems.
These are great lights! They clip right on the canopy and have a good amount of light. I have now gotten enough to do 3 canopies. They are put together well and seem to last a long time on the batteries
