Cool product. I have gone through a few of these already. It lights up great and the batteries last a long time. They are fragile and break easy. Through trail and error i have learned that putting them in the bottom of the cooler is very cool to look at but doesn't last very long before it breaks. Run them along the top rim of the cooler and it will last much longer. Clear heavy duty packing tape works great to hold them in place
These are WAY cool! I wish I had gotten a picture of how they looked in the cooler at Bonnaroo, but we totally forgot. It was just enough light to see what was in the cooler, but not so bright you were blinded when looking in it in the dark. I'll try to get pictures the next time we use it.The picture below is just the light right out of the box.
I see from the other reviews that you either love these things or hate 'em - they have worked beautifully for us. For the most part, we use them to light rock and mineral displays - they are small and easy to fit in small spaces - and the intensity of the light is just great. We have also used them in coolers, and that's worked fine as well.I have had 4 sets of these, various colors, so far and all of them have worked perfectly, and are still working (6 months after purchase, full time use). Most definitely, for us, a real bang for the buck.
I have purchased several other similar items, and this is the best. I love that changes colors and has an auto-off timer to save battery life. The image shows it lit the ice beneath our Halloween "blood bag" cocktails! Great buy to make your cooler the best at the party!
It’s fun, but u can’t adjust the the light colors very well and it doesn’t stay on long at all, and it wasn’t because the battery was dead, it just won’t stay on long. It’s cute, but I wouldn’t really recommend it. Very glad it didn’t cost much. Sorry
What is your policy on returns?
At Brightz, all sales are final with the exception of mechanical defects. Brightz have a 30 day limited replacement warranty. Please read our Return Policy below for more information. If you did not purchase your Brightz from our website, contact the store or seller you received them from.
Items may be returned within 30 days of receipt for a full refund. They must be returned at the customer’s expense in their original packaging and meet the following conditions:
All sales are final. Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for return shipping and handling charges on all returned items.
Unless Brightz made an error, return freight is the customer’s responsibility. We will be happy to help you determine which shipping method to use once you have requested your RMA number. We highly recommend insuring the items for their retail value to protect against shipping damage.
Please be sure to carefully follow all return-shipping instructions. If an item is returned to the wrong address, Brightz reserves the right to charge for any additional shipping fees associated with shipping the item to the correct location.
Orders canceled after the item has shipped are subject to all standard return policies. You must accept delivery, obtain an RMA Number and ship the item back to the correct address.
If delivery of an item is refused, return shipping costs are deducted from the issued credit and a 25% restocking fee will apply. Second-Day and Next-Day shipping costs will not be credited if delivery is refused.
Once your return is received, Brightz Ltd. will issue a refund to the credit card or PayPal account used for the purchase. Please allow up to 3 weeks for your credit to be issued.
To receive a full refund, items must be shipped within 14 days from the day the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number. Returns received without a RMA will not be refunded.
All products sold at brightz.com are factory new and are covered by the manufacturer’s 30 day limited replacement warranty. In the event that your merchandise arrives to you in a physically damaged condition due to transit damage, please call Customer Service at 419-517-0049 or email us at support@brightz.com. You must make claims for damage within 3 days of delivery. After this allotted time, we cannot accept responsibility for the claim. We will contact the delivery carrier (UPS or USPS (Parcel Post)) on your behalf and have the merchandise picked up and inspected. Merchandise must be returned in the original shipping carton. Upon receipt of damaged merchandise to our warehouse, a replacement unit of the same model will be shipped to you.
