We recently purchase a used pop up camper. My daughter loves to bring her bike when we camp because we live on the side of a hill and she doesn’t get to ride as often as she would like. At first letting her ride around after dark would make me nervous. I got these and the ones that go on the wheels and now all I have to do is look up and I know exactly where she is at all times. She loves them as well. Great idea! Really fun on the fourth of july as well. All the other kids think its the coolest bike ever!
Somehow someway someone figured out how to make a safety feature look damn cool – That’s a rare occasion, catches eyes of motorists so they don’t run into you, get a lot of compliments from people passing by. I do say though, some lady about got her arm yanked off from her German Shepherd she was walking, was passing them from behind, when the dog saw the lights and me on the bike must have been very foreign to him because he instantly went into attack mode, she gained control of him, but do be aware it seems to confuse animals.
I like the item I really enjoyed having it on my bike. My dislike if you don’t blink on and off and I have trouble turning it on and off other than that it served its purpose. I also wish it was a rechargeable battery installed in the device
These look super cool on my sons blue bike!
Love, love, love these lights. They are super easy to install, and the colors (I chose rainbow) are so pretty! They show up wonderfully in the dark, and I feel like such a “cool kid” when I’m riding in my neighborhood at night. The batteries are easy to change out as well. The only thing I wish they included is more than one plastic tie-down. On the eve of my 14th birthday, a brake cable came off my handlebars and dropped into my spokes, while I was going down a hill. I flew over the bike and broke my arm*, so I am a little paranoid about things coming off my bike.*after coming home from the hospital, my parents let me open one of my birthday gifts early. It was Billy Joel’s album The Stranger. (I’m super old). At least I had Billy Joel to comfort me as I sat there in pain with my cast on. I still love that album, although I the don’t care for rest of his music! (Sorry to any BillyJ fans).
