Brightz Rechargeable LED Table Tennis Paddle

I really liked this Brightz LED Ping Pong Paddle! It was really easy to charge using the USB-C port at the bottom of the paddle. After charging, the paddle’s LED lights are easy to turn on using the button located at the bottom. The LED lights that run alongside the paddle’s edges look great and gently cycle through different colors. The paddle is a little heavier than a standard paddle, but otherwise is still comfortable and maneuverable.

Appearance: it doesn’t get cooler 😎 than this! The colors are amazing.Quality: very solid paddle.Weight: this is kind of a con . It’s medium heavy. I didn't really like this aspect. I felt a difference than the standard paddles I have used.Fun A++++ it’s really cool.Value for the money: it’s a toss up because it looks really cool. But the weight aspect for me would make me deter using this. But maybe you have a stronger hand than me. Maybe it wouldn’t bother males.

These light up pedals are super fun. We have been using them on a black lit table and it adds some excitement to it for sure. On the some excitement to it for sure. You can choose any shahida of color by pressing the button once it fades to the color that you like. Last plenty long on a single charge. Unfortunately, this coolness comes with some cost. It is quite a bit heavier and thicker than a standard paddle (about 50% more weight). This bugs me, but my daughter actually prefers the extra weight.

It's important to establish at the outset that this is not a performance table tennis paddle. This is a fun, eyecatching, awesome-for-a-party ping pong paddle that looks way cooler (in the dark) than it plays. It plays okay, with a rubber-covered blade, and you can spin and control the ball reasonably well, but you're not making the national team with this paddle.Hitting with this thing takes some getting used to. And if you miss the sweet spot - that is, if you mis-hit the ball near the edges of the paddle - then all bets are off and God only knows where the ball will end up. It's unforgiving. That can be a very good training tool forcing the player to focus on hitting good shots, or it can be slightly annoying. But even annoying ping pong is good ping pong, right? (Big table tennis fan here!)This lightsaber-like paddle also makes a hollow sounding noise with each hit. Presumably because it's hollow. The balance is a bit off because of the slightly heavy handle which holds the rechargeable battery. These are all factors that will require some adjustment and recalibration if you're experienced with other paddles, but they're nothing that can't be overcome. The big trade off, of course, is you can look like Kylo Ren or Luke Skywalker when you're playing in the dark. About that... it's hard to play table tennis in the dark. You're obviously going to need at least SOME light, or you could always amp up the fun with glow-in-the-dark ping pong balls. I bought some Franklin glow-in-the-dark balls specifically to try out with this paddle. If you buy it for the dazzling lights and not for high performance (i.e. if your expectations are set appropriately) you'll really enjoy it.

Ordered the "Brightz PaddleBrightz LED Ping Pong Paddle - Electrifies Your Matches! - 6 Solid Color + Color Changing Modes - Premium Sponge & Rubber for Ultimate Control & Spin - Flared Handle for Improved Grip" as a novelty item for laughs during a family gathering ping pong tournament. It has lasted and still works after three months, so that's a plus. It is most decidedly NOT a competitive ping pong paddle, however. Just so you know. It IS, however, a BIG DOG alpha move paddle to pull out for bringing your best light saber ping pong techniques to get the whole group laughing. So its a hit. We highly recommend. Enjoy!

I'm hosting a light up sports night in a gym coming up next month.I ordered this to accompany the ping pong table lights and the net light I also ordered. There are lots of other sports we'll be doing as well. I got balls of all kinds that light up or glow: basketball, football, frisbees, jump ropes, soccer, tetherball, pickleball and a whole lot more.I just haven't found ping pong balls that light up yet.I was surprised how well this lights up. It's really a fun light. It does different settings for color changing, flashing etc.I like how this is set up since it's inserted in the handle to the sides, so it doesn't interfere with the playing surface. It does make the paddle heavier. That will just add to the competition.

Paddle feels a little heavy probably because of the battery in the handle and a little hollow to compensate for the weight. It is more of a gimmick rather than a tool to improve your game but that's not the intention of this paddle. But it might put some spark & excitement into the game and will make good gifts. Rubber is of good quality & put adequate spin on the ball.

We are a Ping Pong playing family, so I was excited when I saw this light up paddle. Love this idea, in concept, but something I did not consider is that you only get the full effect of this paddle when the room is dark which is not ideal. That said, it's still a fun novelty paddle, which is well constructed and functions and handles well.

This is a very fun paddle when you play in low lighting. If you can find yourself and glow in the ball ping pong ball watch out.The paddle is actually made pretty well. The foam padding is pretty thick and the rubber texture on the head of the paddle is very tacky. The paddle plays decent, although it's much heavier than a regular paddle. We've had to get used to it. After playing with it, it's also hard to go back to our normal light paddles. The grip is a little too slick. It's made out of a plastic material. The best conclusion I can give is that the paddle is a fun yet very noncompetitive piece of ping pong equipment. Never meant for high level players to actually play with. Saying this, it's a neat idea and works as it's advertised to.4 stars.

The paddle is fine and it works as shown. I like that it's rechargeable, as opposed to using standard batteries. It's hard to justify the cost, though. It's a "fun" paddle and you sort of need at least two. Currently, the price is around $40. That's just too much for a novelty ping-pong paddle.

This is a cute idea, especially for kids who would likely have a good time playing with a color changing ping pong paddle. I'm struck by the price. It is way too high. Of course if you get one, you're going to want to get at least one more, and possibly as many as three more so all of the kids can have them to use. Even if you just got two of them, you're talking about $80.00 for a couple of fun paddles that aren't professional grade, or $160.00 for a set of four. Way, way too high priced. I've bough professional type paddles for less than this. It's an okay paddle for a kid, but it also has a couple of drawbacks. The handle is hollow, so you don't get the feeling of a good solid grip. The handle is so lightweight it's almost a distraction. The paddle's face is okay, but the handle's weird. You charge this by opening the bottom of the handle. But even so, the entire handle doesn't need to be hollow.I like this because it's fun for kids. I can picture kids having fun playing midnight ping pong with the lighted paddles. The price is really outrageous, though. I would never spend this much on an amateur ping pong paddle. The manufacturer/seller should really consider a much more reasonable price for this. I'd suggest selling it at a cost in the $10.00 - $12.00 price range.

I play table tennis with professional equipment, and I understand that this paddle is not meant to match characteristics of a pro setup. However, comparing the performance in this review will give a better scope to see how this paddle performs. The paddle itself makes play more difficult for experienced players due to the amount of softness in the plastic material versus a traditional wooden paddle. I give this four stars because it is meant to be a fun paddle for casual play, and not specifically for competitive use. The LEDs show bright at the base, but fade toward the top instead of being a more uniform color. Some colors I would switch to would have this effect much less noticeable. This paddle is expensive at $40, but overall a fun choice for fun, not for sport use.

This paddle is so fun with the lighting around the edges!!! It looks and plays great!!!

This is a good fun table tennis paddle. I must emphasize that it is for fun, and not serious play. The lights are a great novelty for low-light conditions and the rubber is quite thick and reasonably sticky, providing good spin to the ball. The paddle is relatively heavy at 237g. The blade is also relatively thick. With the rubber it measures 15.86mm, though part of this is due to the lights.I said that the paddle could be better. This is because the main blade and handle are made of plastic. I think that this contributes to the relatively-poor feel that this paddle has in my hand and the inconsistency that I feel when hitting a ball. I believe that the blade's performance would be much better -- and it would certainly feel much better in my hand -- if the blade were made mostly of wood.As it is, the paddle would be a performance upgrade only for someone who does not play with his or her own paddle or for someone who ordinarily plays with a paddle that's not been cared for so that the rubber is dried out and smooth.Hint -- to preserve the stickiness of your rubber, clean and dry it after playing (to get skin oil and dirt off of it) and cover it with either a specially-made plastic sheet, or at least put it into a plastic bag to protect it and reduce the rubber's oxidation.All-in-all, this is a fun table tennis paddle, but it is purely a novelty. I got a great reaction when I brought it out at a friend's table. The electric paddle is good fun for its shock value (pun intended), but could be better; and it's not going to replace my regular blade.

Fun gift to go with ping pong table for a birthday girl. She plays all the time and enjoys the lit paddle with a lit net as well also bought from Amazon!

Turn your ping pong battles into a light show with these! With all of these bold colors and color-changing mode, every rally feels like a party. It’s not just flashy—it's got the grip for having good for games too!

Cool addition to my custom made ping pong table...

Great buy
