Brightz GlobeBrightz LED USB String Lights set feels well made and durable for use in the outdoors. The lights are pleasant and easy to switch between modes. Most light string sets I have purchased have a small battery pack attached to one end. This light set does not have any internal power storage/battery. The USB A must be plugged into an external battery or USB power source to turn on. I found the light set to be somewhat limiting because of the short length of wire between the first light and the USB plug. With the light set in a hanging position outdoors, the battery is difficult to hide and in adverse weather difficult to protect and keep out of any precipitation. The light set is easy to rig in a tent and hang from tabs and pockets in the upper part of the tent.
These simple string lights are compact, lightweight and provide soothing, soft illumination. Powered by a USB power bank, it's easy for me to bring them anywhere I go. My only complaint is that I ordered the color-changing variety and got soft white instead.

These are very tiny but they are cute. The balls are a hard plastic with an almost rubbery finish. The cord is clear plastic.It does not come with a charging block, but you can plug it into any battery pack which it does not come with either. There is one button on the USB end that you press to turn the light set on. And then it slowly rotates through colors and then you press the button again to hold on whatever color you press on.I'm not sure the value is here on this one, these LED lights are so cheap now that there's nothing really special about this one.There is no waterproofing around the USB plug, so although you could use these camping, the end is still susceptible to moisture.
Received white instead of rgb so can't speak to those aspects. Lights are consistent tho
I ended up getting the RGB camping lights rather than the warm white, so this review is for them. They are visually interesting, and put out enough light to be a fun addition to a tent or rain fly. The lights are pretty weather proof, but the USB plug doesn’t appear to be, so that would need to be under cover from rain. The lights themselves seem pretty rugged, I’ve had no issue with them getting damaged under the mild abuse of camping. You really don’t have much control over the RGB lights - they all display the same color, which slowly shifts over time, and the button on the USB plug will stop the cycling on a color you like, or restart the cycling. I do wish there was a remote or another button or two that allowed you to control dimming, color, and maybe speed of color cycling. One nice aspect is that the cord does not get tangled very badly, so it’s easy to pack/unpack. All in all, recommended if you’re okay with the limited color controls.
These string lights provide good ambient lighting. I have them strung around my dining room window for the holidays. Of course, they're also good for a campsite. They are only in white, but offer a number of different flashing modes in addition to the on-all-the-time mode.The lights are nice, but they are not perfect. I really do not like the flashing modes and would prefer it if the lights turned back on automatically to the last mode that was set, rather than having to cycle through all of them to get to the on-all-the-time mode that I want. Also, I'd last used the lights in the summer but had not taken the batteries out. When I turned them on after Thanksgiving, they did not work. I opened the battery compartment and found that the batteries had leaked. Perhaps this is a fault of the battery manufacturer, but it would be good if there was a warning on the lights to remove the batteries if the lights are not going to be used for a while and for storage.All in all, I am happy with this lighting set; it provides good ambient lighting.
